Blue Magic Greenhouses: About Us

Blue Magic Greenhouses is a second generation operation established in 1981 by Leo and Ineke Captein.  Born in the Netherlands Leo and Ineke brought their cut flower expertise to the south coast of British Columbia.  Now their son Dave Captein is working in the business too.  Blue Magic Greenhouses Ltd. was named after the “Blue Magic” Iris variety which was once grown.  The image of the Iris remains part of the company as it is incorporated into the logo and sleeves.  Over time the product selection of Blue Magic Greenhouses Ltd. has changed but dedication to producing premium cut flowers remains.
